  1. In the few weeks that CheckList 1.0 has been out on the boards we╒ve had of a
  2. few suggestions that may or may not affect your site.  While we didn╒t have time to
  3. add them for this release, rest assured that we are planning to include them
  4. for the retail release:

  6. 1.    CheckList builds a list of all fonts installed in the system when it starts
  7. up.  Part of that process is searching for all download font files, which can
  8. take a while.  (A bug ╥fix╙ was added late in the game to work with Suitcase,
  9. which made things worse.)  If you╒ve got lots of fonts installed, and are running
  10. CheckList on a Plus, it can take several minutes.  The good news is that CheckList
  11. only searches on launch, so if you can afford to leave it running the whole
  12. day under MultiFinder you╒re fine.  Yes, we are fixing this for 2.0.

  14. 2.    We╒ve heard of vague problems with Type Reunion, but haven╒t reproduced them
  15. in-house.  If you isolate the problem please let us know.

  17. 3.    We╒ve also heard about fonts being listed twice and occasional bad status
  18. reports in the font list.  Again, we haven╒t been able to reproduce these in house,
  19. and would love to hear about a reliable way to generate the problem.
